π RECIPE π Paprika-Spiced Pumpkin Deviled Eggs. ππ₯ The perfect combo of spooky and seasonal to take your Halloween spread up a notch. Pair them with other creepy creations, or let them steal the show as a starter at your next dinner party. However you serve them, these eggs bring the flavor and the festivity. π₯β¨
You'll need:
6 hard-boiled eggs π₯ 1/4 cup mayonnaise π₯ 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard π₯ 1/4 teaspoon salt π₯ 1/8 teaspoon black pepper π₯ 2 teaspoons paprika (1 teaspoon for the filling, 1 teaspoon for garnish) π₯ Chives, snipped, for the pumpkin stems
Directions
βHard boil the eggs, then peel them ensuring the whites remain smooth. Rinse and pat them dry, then slice each egg in half lengthwise. π³ Gently remove the yolks and transfer them to a small bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork until they are smooth without any large chunks. π³ Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper and 1tsp of the paprinka to the mashed yolks. Mix until creamy. π³ Spoon the mixture into a piping bag. Use the round tip to pipe the mixture onto the egg whites. π³ Lightly sprinkle the filled eggs with the remaining teaspoon of paprika. Use a toothpick to gently create ridges on the yolk mixture to mimic pumpkin textures. Complete the pumpkin look by adding snipped chives to the top of each deviled egg as the pumpkin stems. π
