Tim and I had the pleasure of meeting the new winemaker Jaeok Chu Cramette whilst weaving her magic in the cellar at Domaine d’Eugenie. Time and precision in the vineyards has paid off. A sneaky preview of her 2025s were certainly impressive - Elegant, fresh, lingering…. ❤️ 🍷💫.

Check out these rocks!! Jean-Marc and Annick Lafon at Domaine de Bel-Air explain the terroir of Beaujolais. Each wine is an expression of these impressive and very different rock type. The wines are so easy to drink any time of the year. It’s a thumbs up for us!! 👍🏼🍇🍷😄

It was a pleasure to visit Monsieur Vincent Avril in the quaint village of Chateauneuf-du-papes. What magnificent and very well made wines he produces, they are powerful and approachable, each having their own personality. Lots of great talk about wine, food, family and friends and before we knew it a 2005 Clos des Papes Rouge emerged - silky smooth and elegant, a bottle of 2021 Blanc also found itself without a cork in it ⭐️ say no more!!

A beautiful day in Cairanne (Rhone Valley) at Domaine Brusset we jumped into the Ford Ranger and drove across to the Dentelles de Montmirail, Gigondas then 4WD’d up the south side through some very steep terrain, up up up until eventually the terraces emerge. All 68 of them in the sun, immaculately groomed by Laurent Brusset. The Mistral wind from the North was very strong, vines all in heavy jurassic limestone, and the process is completely organic. A lot of hard work to see up here resulting in great joy and delicious wines. 💪🏼🍇🍷

June in Provence, 30 degrees and some fresh silky rosé and crisp white wines (Rolle) from our new agency Chateau d’Astros. We had a sensational tour around the property with its own chapel and aqueducts. The wines are delicious and the welcome was superb. We look forward to a summer with this selection under our belt. 😎❤️🌹

Jo Charvill here on Kahlenberg mountainside in Vienna, Austria looking down on these amazing vines that produce super fresh lightly aromatic and mineral focussed white wines just above the city. You can walk to the top and drink wine at vineyards all the way down.. 😉 lovin’ Krüner veltliner ❤️ down at the markets you get loads of fresh and very large produce!!.
