Standing Spoon We're a little brewery in the big city, mixing fresh ideas with tradition. We're always evolving so get involved and vote with your palate!

In 2015, after six years in New Zealand, four years of dreaming and a year of planning, we (beer-loving Czech-British couple Ondrej and Caroline) set up Standing Spoon in Auckland. We love traditional brewing. We also love exploring beyond our roots, which is why we’re here in New Zealand. With a little brewhouse (500 litres) and matching pilot brewery, we’ve got lots of space to play, experiment

and create something new. The Czechs say beer should have a taste you can bite (some people call it body). In our beers, each ingredient has its own space, creating interesting layers of flavour while retaining good balance - and body. We'll be releasing heaps of different beers and want you to help us keep evolving. So get involved and vote with your palate!
