What could be better than sharing a meal with great company, home-cooked food, and a nice bottle of wine?

pasta with aged cheese and salads paired with Sato L'aptipique Riesling 2022.

This orange wine, made from Riesling grapes, is a rare find, especially in NZ. There's also a Pinot Gris version available.

The wine offers light, candied fruit notes and an aged Comte-like aroma from the yeast, complementing both the salad and pasta perfectly.

RRP $50 NZD.
The 2022 vintage is sold out, but you might be able to find some 2023 bottles around.

기력이 딸려서 자주는 못하는 이나‘스 킷친이 돌아왔다.

술을 안마셔 버릇 하니 한병을 나눠먹어도 그다음날이 넘 힘듬
(9시간 수다 릴레이 때문에 더 힘든걸까)

그래서 더욱 신중해 지는 와인 설렉션.
이젠 진짜 귀한놈만 마시고 싶다.

많이 모르지만 내추럴 와인에 오게닉 와인이다 사토 와인은.
한국에 왜 안들어가는지 일도 모르겠음.
이걸 왜 못파는지도 모르겠음.
와인이 이미 열일해서 그냥 팔리는 와인인데.

Thai food heaven at .restaurant in East Auckland, perfectly paired with Grand Duchesse Sauvignon Blanc 💛🤍💛 not an ordinary Marlborough SB it was. Stunning with elegant texture and characters 💛

연초에 다녀온 송별회겸 나나타이.
타이에 잘 어울리는 한즈 허조그의 와따급 소블 그랑드 듀세스.
업자 특별 혜택(?)을 지니고 있는 나는
가격 상관 없이 음식에 맞춰 무드에 맞춰
그냥 궁금해서 애들을 픽 해오는데
마시자마자 너무 맛있어서
어? 이거 왜이렇게 맛있지?
잠깐만 얼마짜리 갖고 온겨? 하고 확인해봄.
아, 그러실 만한 귀한 와인느님 이셨었구나 싶었던 와인.

고급 스러운 말보러 소블의 끝판왕급.
살짝 섞은 세미용으로 텍스쳐 살려주고
오크 에이징은 과하지 않게 얹혀주고
바디감도 묵직하게 매끄럽게 지나가지만
몇년이 지나도 살아있는 과실향.

말보러 소블의 스펙트럼은 생각보다 다양하고
생각보다 많다.

*마지막 사진은 선물 받는 스웨터가 너무 맘에 들어 어쩔줄 모르는 표정이다. 참말로 맘에 든다. 진짜다*

Continue on posting from my Melbourne journey in January (yeah I stayed about a month in Aussie). wine was recommended by a wine shop staff, it’s Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon blend from the Margaret river! Margaret river produces so many beautiful wines. With some Korean dinner at my friend’s.

처음 알게된 낯선 호주와인 이였다.
추천 하는 오지 할아버지의 의견을 의심쩍어 하며 샀다 (누구 추천 받으면 의심부터 하는 거시 우리 전문가들의 특징. …응?)
산지오에 캡소브를 블렌딩한 수파튜스카니 스타일인가부다.
블렌딩 부터가 실험적이다.
마가렛 리버산인데 최근에 더 마셔본 마가렛 리버 와인들은 동공확장되는 퀄리티와 맛을 지녔다.
자세한 맛은 기억 안나는데 어쨋든 그 할아버지 뭐좀 아시네? 했던 맛 👅

멜번에서 급 절친된 동창 친구가 채려준 한식 밥상 -
멜번의 이선생 국밥 존 (zone) 이라 불리울 만큼 맛난 이선생 국밥집의 족발도 함께 (너무 맛있음 ㅠㅠ)

막걸리는 댄머피꺼 - 뉴질랜드엔 안들어오는 아이다.

*저녁만 먹고 갈라 그랬는데 거의 밤새고 그다음날 점심으로 마라탕 해장까지 하고 갔다. 방도 하나 비어 있던데 하마터면 눌러 살뻔 했다*

Rippon is famous for high end single vineyard Pinot noir, but their whites are gorgeous too! I recently tried one of the rare, well crafted Gewurtztraminer from Wānaka and it did not disappoint. The heavier texture pairs perfectly with the fruitiness and creamy chilli shrimp pasta 🍝 🍤 🌶️

값비싼 싱글 빈야드 피노누아로 유명한 이지만 화이트들도 기깔나게 맛나다지요. 2020 게뷔츠 인데도 넘나 맛있게 마신것. 향기로움에 살짝 무거움에 크림 베이스 칠리 쉬림프 파스타 (파스타 이름이 거 너무 거창한거 아니오?) 랑 잘 맞았답니당. 이외에 리즐링쪽도 이쁜 것. 강추.

It was more than okay.
근데 사실 더 윗급 와인 인줄 알고 잘못 삼.
근데 왜 괜찮음?
저 시절엔 와인을 좀 더 정성스레 빚었던걸까.

마치 에어 프라이어 안에 있는거 같음.
여기서 어떻게 사냐
했지만
완전 힙한 멜버니.
이래서 다들 멜번 이민 가나봐 (키위 시점)
