We are delighted to be able to offer three superb single vineyard Champagnes (and the Grand Cru assemblage bottling) from Egly-Ouriet, described by acclaimed Champagne writer Tyson Stelzer as "finest grower in Champagne right now, and my only 10/10 grower." Established in 1930, Egly-Ouriet is now managed by fourth generation winemaker Francis Egly.
We have tiny volumes of these four incredible wines, all of which come from old-vine sites and are bottle-aged for between 36 and 72 months before release. These are incredibly well-reviewed wines from a master of the genre, and as, such are tightly allocated with huge international demand. The Egly 'house style' is one of richness and complexity with a vinousity that evokes serious White Burgundy. All of the wines receive significant aging on lees, sometimes up to 100+ months and are labeled as 'Extra Brut', that is to say, very dry with dosages of 2g or less.
The wines we have available:
Les Prémices - 1/3 each Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier from Trigny. The most open and accessible of the four bottlings. 6 bottles Available
Les Vignes de Bisseuil Premier Cru - Chardonnay dominant, barrel fermented and aged for 48 months in bottle before release.

Grand Cru - Pinot Noir-dominant from three Grand Cru vineyards, this is the quintessential Egly bottling. Barrel fermented and aged for 48 months in bottle before release.
