Enjoy this Good Friday with an entertainment packed night with fantastic food. This is our last event of the season so your last chance to indulge.

There will be a line up of Auckland's best street food, live cultural performances including melodious mandolins, vibrant Cook Island dancing and drumming and passionate tango dancing, FREE ReCreators workshop, FREE henna tattoo and repair café to get your household items repaired for free (koha appreciated).

There are carparks available in the community centre carpark. The overflowing parking is available on the grass field behind the St Johns Hall. Mind the kerb up. Walking or biking up can make it easier.

Plenty of seating is available outside, inside or picnic in the park.

Stay around a while and the fun community vibes. We run 4:30pm to 8:30pm Te Atatu South Community Centre, 247 Edmonton road. See you all there 😃.

Along with all the tasty food this Friday, we have a packed entertainment/ activities line-up for the World of Cultures festival. The entertainment line-up features:

- 4:45pm – A taste of Europe with mandolin sounds of Italy, Greece and Spain.
- 5:45pm – The famed Cook Island dance group Te Riri O Te O Dance Group bring the vibrant energy of Cook Island drumming and dance to life.
- 6:25pm – Tango Dance Pasion shares the drama and elegance of Argentine tango for a captivating performance.
- Free The ReCreators global puppet making workshop 5pm to 7pm in the courtyard.
- Free Henna tattoo 4:30pm to 7:30pm in the courtyard.
- Co-sponsors Barfoot & Thompson Glendene Real Estate will have kid’s activities under their marquee.
- The regular Te Atatu repair café will run from 5pm – 8pm. Bring your broken household items to be repaired for free to stop them going to landfill (koha/ donation appreciated).
- The regular music to keep the good vibes humming.

- Live Performances as part of the World of Cultures festival.
- Free henna tattoos
- Free ReCreators kids’ puppet making workshops
- Repair Café – bring along small household items for free repairs (koha appreciated).

- Fillings burgers – ***Update*** Unfortunately due to equipment issues Fillings burger can no longer make it. Luckily Smoking Shack has joined the lineup. *** A massive hit last time they visited us. They will be serving up their scrumptious burgers including the crunchy prawn burger along with fried chicken and chips.

First up for our last event of the season on next Friday April 3rd, we are pleased to welcome back:

- Nom Nom - serving their delectable take on full of flavour Vietnamese street food. Update. Unfortunately Nom Nom have had to withdraw last minute with brake issues.

- Der Schnitzel Wagen will be joining us with classic German schnitzel, served over a bed of fries, smothered in cheese, and finished with your choice of toppings.
