About the business and the role:
Creative Edge Food Company is an established, market leading, wholesale bakery selling high quality baked goods, baked daily and delivered throughout the North Island.
This is a fast-paced role where you will provide high level administrative, as well as working in the customer service team to support our customers. No two days will be the same and you will be involved in many aspects of the business and make the role your own!
Hours of Operation 9am-6pm Monday to Friday and 12pm to 6pm Sundays. You would need to be available during those hours and days to be considered.
Job tasks and responsibilities
• Helping customers place there daily orders
• Supporting customers in growth and product knowledge
• Assistance with key account projects
• Assistance in some AP and AR work
• Maintaining and tracking of orders and stock movements
• Maintaining accurate data in ERP/Accredo/Mountain Stream (training is provided)
• General office filing and duties
• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback
Skills and experience
We're looking for someone energetic, driven and dynamic to join our small and amazing sales & administration team.

• An Upbeat and Motivated Attitude
• Problem solving not problem creating! We like if you are proactive and look for solutions.
• Ideally you will have worked with ERPs such as SAP/Accredo Software or similar
• Have knowledge in all Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Social Media and regular media content creation and publishing
• Knowledge of FCP and HACCP is an advantage but a can do attitude and willingness to learn is just as good.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters discreetly and diplomatically
• A team player who can also work unsupervised
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
• A friendly clear phone manner and email manner
You must be able to work the hours stated and have the relevant status to work.
