Good things are growing 🍓

Work is well and truly underway at our new home ahead of opening this spring, and we're so excited to finally share a little of what's been happening on site.

After a challenging start navigating the unpredictable Auckland rain, we're now in full swing. Strawberry rows are laid, the building platform is ready, and big changes are coming. If you're driving past, you'll start to notice things taking shape.

Our new farm is located at 454 Taupaki Road, Kumeū with easy access via both SH16 and Taupaki Road. We'll share full details on entrances and parking closer to opening.

There's plenty still to do before the we open, but our whole team is working hard to bring the magic of Good Planet to this site - it’ll be everything you know and love, and more!

And that's a wrap, Riverhead 🍓

After 13 amazing seasons, we've closed the gates on our Riverhead farm for the very last time.

To everyone who came out to pick, to play, to eat, to laugh, and to make memories - thank you. Riverhead will always be a very special place to us.

While it’s the end of an era, it’s also the beginning of something new… and we can’t wait to welcome you to our new home.

It’s our last weekend for the season… and our last weekend in Riverhead 🍓

Our PYO fields are now closed for the season, but there’s still plenty to enjoy while you’re here.

Grab a delicious wood-fired pizza, a barista coffee or something tasty from the café, then head over to the ice cream shop for a real fruit ice cream or a scoop from our friends at Lewis Road Creamery 🍦

The Adventure Park will be open too, so the kids can have a run around!

We’d love to see you for one last visit at our Riverhead farm 💛

Join us for a long weekend filled with fun 🐰🍓

It’s Easter, so we’re celebrating with free hourly Easter egg hunts, train rides to spot coloured eggs hiding in the fields, AND meet the Easter Bunny for a sweet treat. On Sunday, enjoy FREE pony rides and face painting.

This is the LAST weekend to visit the Splash Park at Riverhead! We still have so many strawberries ready for picking, the Adventure Park is open, and our café is serving up delicious food and wood-fired pizza 🍕 Finish off with a real fruit ice cream or one of our Lewis Road Creamery scoops.

Something good is growing… 🍓

After 13 years at our Riverhead farm, it's time for us to keep growing.

From next season, we’ll be moving to a new location. We’ll still be local, just with a little more room to grow.

Riverhead has been home to Good Planet for many years, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has visited, picked strawberries and supported us along the way.

Our new home will have everything you know and love about Good Planet and more! More strawberries, more activities, more food options and more space to explore. Thank you to our amazing community for sharing so much feedback - lots of the ideas for the new farm are thanks to you!

We can’t wait to share more with you soon.

Weekday mornings are for teddy bears and strawberries! 🧸🍓
