Exciting times. Cam was stuck with cancelled flights out of the USA and Jez forgot to grab the chicken prep kit off Cams bench on the way past. Legged it down to Barbecue BOI central and picked out the only remaining bird brine (turkey 🧐).

Fun cook pitched up between The Chosen Que and the Meat Harlots. Good vibes and good tunes all day 👊

9th chook - pretty stoked on this
13th ribs - disappointed 🤨
10th pork- fair
7th brisket - best result so far
9th overall

3rd Ribs
6th pork
12 equal Chicken
14th Brisket.

Cracked the top 10 with a 7th overall🤘🔥

Jeremy Froger also wrangled a 10th steak in the SCA on the friday.

The pits engines ran smooth with the flavors of Kaipara charcoal

Massive thanks to Black Label Barbecue and their team for putting the comp on.

Big ups to the Rotorua Blues Club for the rest of the event with excellent tunes
