Jones Hay has been restructured and under owner management and I am excited to continue offering premium product, as always, with delivery options. Due to hay conditions new seasons hay will be available from mid November onwards and it’s looking to be a bumper crop!!

We have again knocked our famous Equine Haylage right out of the park, for another year running 😮‍💨

Moisture content, NSC, palatability, nutrition, quality - all SUPERB 🏆

This round has been a LONG time coming, but boy was it worth the wait! Dispatching from tomorrow 🚛💨

Tough on weeds, no compromise on quality, focused on superlative products 🏆

Bringing the chopper in, is just part of a days work here at the Jones Hay farm 🚁

Our spray regimen is a non-negotiable, and we bring in the big guns to get the job done 💪🏼

This means we sleep easy at night, knowing our clients have weed-free products, a guarantee of satisfaction and our precious pastures are protected from pesky invaders!

Spring greens ☘️💚🌱✨

Whilst everyone will certainly not be enjoying this rain, we are welcoming it with open arms 🤗 - why?

Our early (and existing) crops of baleage and haylage on our dry sand country, are drinking it up! 🫗 Ready for cutting as soon as the sun comes back 😍☀️

We are still backlogged from winter harvest (insanity, we know!) but we are going as fast as we can! 🚜💨

The growth of these legumes is INSANE 🤪 and we CANNOT WAIT to bale them up 🚜 into not only LARGE ROUND baleage, but CONVENTIONALS too! ☘️

WE DON’T MAKE PERFECT HAY

But we’re pretty damn close! 🤯

For a “second grade” hay, Budget Buddy is ALWAYS being mistaken for Premium, and we can see why 🤭

We are now down to our final 1000 bales of the ever gorgeous, Budget Buddy Equine/Meadow Mix 🤤

Annnnd it looks like we have a new favourite barn - because the SMELL & COLOUR retention of the hay in ‘Steph’s Shed’ is OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🌏
