We have some news to share regarding the distribution of our wines.

Sadly, we are parting ways with our former distributor. Blanc have done an amazing job at representing us and our wines when we weren’t able to.

But with change comes growth and new opportunities. We are excited to share that we will be selling our wines from now on directly to trade (and consumers via our website as per usual).

Initially, in the beginning, we did sell our wines ourselves for a short period. We quickly found that with a very young family it was really hard to navigate and the energy that was required to put into it, wasn’t there.

With our little ones growing up, we have found ourselves in a position with the luxury of a little more time on our hands, to put the time and effort into Tettonica that it requires.

I will be reaching out to existing and new trade in the up and coming weeks to introduce ourselves.

Happy Chardonn(yay) day!

One of our favourite white varietals, we love the diversity it brings to the table.

Stylistically, the range can go from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Crisp, high acidity and unoaked all the way through to buttery, full-bodied and oaked. We appreciate both styles and everything in between!

We have made only two vintages from this very special vineyard. Our preferred style to make and enjoy is lean, crisp and zesty without new oak instead an old puncheon to add texture and mouthfeel to the wine.

Nadine & Peter’s block was 0.45ha of three clones of Chardonnay in the Southern Valley’s of Marlborough. North facing, young vines planted on a hillside with the most incredible view.

I have really enjoyed pouring our ‘23 over recent times to those ‘who don’t enjoy Chardonnay’ or ‘are part of the ABC club’ …. A new one to me!

I have found at tastings and events, the vast majority of people enjoy our style we have produced as it veers away from a lot of preconceptions of Chardonnay. It veers in the opposite direction in comparison to how Chardonnay was more typically produced in former years.

The Time of Plenty is upon us as we transition through the seasons 🍂

As the leaves slowly begin to fall and we move through Summer and into Autumn, we celebrate the harvesting of our bountiful crops as we lean towards the cooler months.

We begin to prepare and cook all we have grown to fill up the freezer to feed and nourish our whānau for when the cold really hit us!
