These delicious little gems from The Christmas Pudding Factory are perfect for any time of year - but especially in these colder days .
They are sooooooo much better than the mass produced supermarket puddings . Lots of real ingredients and a lot of love goes into every one .
They ship all over with special rates for us lucky locals!

Wow that was quite a thunderstorm 🌩 last night! I hope everyone is ok?
Vege boxes have been going great 👍. Thank you to all our supporters. Six weeks in and we are loving the feedback and comments about how people are loving their vege.
We still have capacity for more if you are interested. Our $40.00 box gives you good variety, including one fruit element and we change them each week. Our boxes are a little different, you tell us what you don't like and we will provide you with a box of fresh vege inspiration, including a recipe or two! We deliver to Blenheim on a Monday ($6.00 delivery). Boxes collected from us are on a Tuesday (or by arrangement). Going away or only want one fortnightly, it's no problem, just let us know by Sunday afternoon.
We have add-ons such as eggs, honey and our own strawberry 🍓 conserve. Need more vege, just let us know and we can increase the value.

You know it’s winter when Fromm Winery start their iconic ‘Enchanted Evenings’ !
Think Gluhwein( warm spiced wine - perfect for today’s weather !) , Raclette ( melty swiss cheese delight ) , sliders , brisket burgers and more . Finished off with their amazing chocolate torte . Enjoy a warm candlelit ambience amongst the barrels - and all wines available.

We love this unique event. Great fun and incredible value . Every Friday and Saturday in June . 5-7pm . Bookings advised to make sure you get a spot .

We have long been fans of Harvest Restaurant at The Marlborough, but recently it just seems to be getting even better and better .
Celebrating Mother’s Day was an absolute joy from start to finish .

The team under the wonderful Sukesh PM work their hospitality magic quietly , efficiently and with the skills and knowledge that makes you relax into the occasion effortlessly . No stuffiness here , just an elegant calm in the most beautiful surroundings .
And now the food ….!
Simply fabulous . Beautifully crafted using mainly local ingredients by super talented Executive Chef Wieland Matzig and his team . I’ll let the menu and photos speak for themselves .
Every Sunday through winter they are doing a locals special 3 course lunch for $85 which, for this quality , service and venue is an incredibly generous offer . Don’t miss it.

And today we were also treated to a glass of beautiful Marlborough Balvonie NZ Prosecco , to celebrate all the special women in our lives . Another lovely local touch .

Delicious first dinner at the soon to open Hotel Durville restaurant .
A great addition to Marlborough’s CBD food scene . I’ve always loved this iconic building and it now has the cuisine to do it justice .

Home made bread rolls with Marmite , Pinot Noir and Miso butter - delicious .

Three entree choices including Salmon Gravlax , Venison Tartare and Onion Soup - all beautifully presented and using our wonderful local produce .

Four mains include : Lamb , Duck , Market Fish and a Beetroot Wellington .

Three desserts include : Chocolate Cremeux , Tarte Tarin and the D’Urville signature dish of Lime , saffron, meringue and cardoman crumble .

Some notables :

Beautifully crafted and delicious plates from a Chef who knows and understands his food.

Great wines by the glass including Fromm Winery and Cloudy Bay

Sides accompany the dish allowing the Chef to decide what works best - something that’s becoming rarer .
