Five amateur drives, three wins and two seconds for Fergus Schumacher!

After recording 50 wins as a junior, the 31-year-old is enjoying a new chapter in the amateur ranks, with Miki’s Moment delivering his latest success in a nose finish at Cambridge on Thursday.

Between yearling preparation at Breckon Farms, helping local trainers and race night drives, Schumacher’s love of the game remains strong.

We couldn’t be happier to have Fergus onboard, and it’s been fantastic to see him salute the judge in our colours twice recently! 🏆

A great mate who’s always willing to lend a hand whenever needed, so it makes those winning moments even more special!

Another fantastic result for one of our recent pre-trainers from the Ralph Manning stable, with VESPHIRE making a winning return at Te Aroha today! Despite doing it the tough way, Vera was all heart - saluting first-up in terrific style! 🥇

We absolutely loved having this girl at our stables, and she certainly added a touch of bling to the tie-ups each morning! ✨

Our stable star, APOLLO ELEVEN has settled in to Christchurch well ahead of his NZB Standardbred Harness Million assignment tomorrow night.

A full field of rising stars is set for the Listed $75,000 2YO Harness Million Trot at Addington Raceway this Friday 🏆😍

As an added bonus, the first Next Gen eligible horse home will receive a $50,000 bonus. $35,000 will go to the owner, $10,000 to the trainer & $5,000 to the breeder. 💰

Last years edition of the race saw Aussie raider Kyvalley Ray (NZ) (The Bold Eagle) take out the feature race. Who will follow in the talented trotters stride?

La Venture, Apollo Eleven, Duke Of Bourbon, Donovan & Lipstick Cherry are all in contention for the bonus.
