Monavale Blueberries is looking for an Organic Orchard Operations - Horticulturalist to join our team from late August/early September.
As Australasia's largest organic blueberry orchard, we're proud to grow healthy, chemical-free food while leading the way in organic horticulture. This is an exciting opportunity to build your skills, work alongside a great team, and be part of a business that has been growing organically since 1985.
π What you'll be doing:
β’ Plant propagation
β’ Pest and disease monitoring & management
β’ Irrigation management
β’ Pruning and planting
β’ Weeding and scrub cutting
β’ Harvest support
β’ Grading and packing
β’ Operating light machinery
π± What we're looking for:
β Horticultural qualification
β Experience in a similar role
β Interest in organic growing
β Strong work ethic and positive attitude
β Physically fit and motivated
β Reliable with own transport and NZ driver's licence
