Born and raised in Wellington, Phillipa has been apart of the Wentwood family since 2017. An integral part of the farm, Phillipa is our chief foal watcher. The unsung heroes of the breeding industry, long nights in all weather conditions, we can always rely on her to keep watch of our broodmares pre foaling. We so appreciate everyone who makes up our foaling unit, especially Phillipa.

Hawea has made the perfect return, taking out the Listed Chittick Family Fillies’ Classic at Taupō in impressive style!

🎆 And with that our 2025-26 stakes racing season comes to an end.

What a way to end the season with Back Of The Bus adding one more stakes win to our black-type tally for the season!

It's been a remarkable season both in the sales ring and on the track with 1⃣5️⃣ individual black-type graduates,6️⃣stakes winners (of seven races) and9️⃣stakes performers (of 19 races).

Congratulations to breeder Royal Blue Bloodstock and Pike Racing on Back Of The Bus' well deserved win today, she looks to have an exciting 3YO season ahead.
