Got to do something really special at the New Zealand Shetland Pony Breeders Society Shetland Show yesterday & give a savvy young lady her first experience of showing with Bexley one of my shetlands. Bexley who is 29 years old got to Parelli L3 online & liberty & Poppy has her level 1. I knew he would look after her & they got first in the mannered class. She went home with lots of ribbons & prizes. The really fun part was the fancy dress where they went as bride & groom. Poppy looked gorgeous as the bride complete with a bouquet. We tied 3 tins & ribbons to Bexleys tail & he wore a gold hoolah hoop with 9 carrots 🥕 hanging (9 carat gold ring). Should add Bexley hasn't been to a show for at least 15 years.
