Making yoghurt is a fortnightly occurrence at out place! I use the last batch as a starter, just like sour dough. The result is always thick creamy goodness 😋

Had the mini gardener supervise my garlic planting today* (relocating last years missed cloves) ! ! !
Main bed planting to happen in next 2 weeks *beds been prepped with chicken manure and rotary hoed over the long weekend. Love growing garlic such a great crop to grow if you have the space, and a great way to save money on food !!

Its been a busy few weeks in the kitchen preserving and making things for the store cupboard. First 20kg of local Moorpark apricots, then plums off our tree, then relish with the first of our Jedvale Bush tomatoes (my favourite easy grow 🍅 variety), more and more plums, this time Burbank and some other purple Japanese plums. Then today's job local 💜 Omihi Blackcurrants being made into cordial with our lemonades 🍋

🎄 Spuds 🥔 are dug, creme a glasses on the go for a 🍓 strawberry trifle. Must be Christmas 🎅
