😍 2026 LAMBS 😍

Can you believe its nearly lambing time 😲 our first lambs are due at the end of July!

We are taking names down for anyone wanting weaned lambs and possible bottle babies. We will have Valais Blacknose F1 - Purebred and Black & Coloured lambs. Please pm the page for more info 🥰

Over the weekend it was time to say goodbye to our Queen - Miley. We adopted Miley and her sister as a 1 day old baby with a broken leg. They both quickly become the amusing trouble makers of the flock and made the term "the bloody goats" a daily saying 😅 (If you have goats you know what i mean) After Miley lost her sister about 5 years ago she quickly made friends with our Rams especially Dart. She was the boss of all the Rams and put any new ram right back in his place ! RIP - We will miss you Miley xo

To dairy farmer Delilah Flavell, cows are more than milk makers. They are giant grass puppies who love to play and snack.

Over the weekend i attended the Valais Blacknose Sheep AGM in Wellington. It was my 6th AGM and its always great meeting new people and old familiar faces 🤗Besides all the politics we all have one thing in common - a love for this wonderful breed - no matter how challenging they like to be sometimes 🤣

The night ended with Dinner and a very funny blind box auction. They also had a Photography section which i placed 2nd with a photo of Zuna and her lamb and a Wool Craft section which i surprisingly won with my little Needle Felted Sheep 😊

What a 45 minute Ram escape produces 🙄😅 Thanks Hugo for the unexpected lambs !! No wonder why these girls never got marked 😅 Ivy had triplets (one stillborn unfortunately) and Zuna had a huge beautiful Purebred Boy !
