Our door will be open today 1:30-2:30 (perfect for the kindy run!) and 5-6pm. Come on in to pick frozen soups, meals or venison - no charge, koha always welcome if you are able.

Mahana will be at 27 Acheson on Monday 1:30 to 2:30 and 5-6pm ready to connect you with some awesome frozen kai. We have a new batch of the popular lamb knuckle stew and some lovely bread or pastry scrolls to go with it. Thanks to a generous hunter we have packs of frozen raw venison steaks for those who like to cook it their way, and in due course we'll have some yummy roasts and stews ready cooked for you. Today apricot pulled pork and beef stroganoff are slow cooking and will be packed into meals with rice / mashed potato and broccoli. No charge for meals but if you can give a koha to help with rent, power etc we appreciate it!

Exciting announcement: Nourish Oraka is officially a charity! We are focussing on using what we get from the wonderful people at Kairos Food Rescue to supply local activities and make yummy meals for you. Current open hours are 1:30-2:30pm and 5-6pm on Mondays. Call in to see us and collect some meals. Koha is very welcome but not required.

Hi folks. Door is open 10-12 this morning if you want to pick up any meals :-). Lamb stew, chicken soup, Korean chicken drumsrick with stir fry veges and rice, keema curry, mushroom potato bake, butter chicken, beef stroganoff... koha very welcome but not required :-)

At Riverlution Farmers Market today with mushroom potato bake, beef stroganoff, salmon cakes with stir fry veg, butter chicken, banana cake, lamb knuckle stew and chicken soup. Koha gratefully received but not required :-)

Our door will be open 1-2pm tomorrow. We have $8 frozen vegetarian cottage pie, Korean spicy chicken drumstick, and vegetarian keema curry. And from that bounty of mushrooms last week we have mushroom potato bake with and without mince, and mushroom lasagne to give away. Koha welcome but not required :-)

Available today:
Our remaining $8 frozen meals are Korean Spicy Chicken (mild), Vegan Cottage Pie, Vegetarian Lasagne and Vegetarian Keema Curry (medium spicy).
We have chicken soup and beef casserole made from Kairos rescue food to give away - donations welcome if you wish/are able.
Other free options you can pick up include eggs, cat treats, breakfast cereal, frozen bread and camembert cheese!
We're open 1-2pm and 5-6pm at 27 Acheson Ave.

A whole lot of beef casserole and some chicken soup made by wonderful volunteers today from Kairos rescue kai will be available frozen next week in our usual hours. Free or give a koha if you can and want to. 27 Acheson Ave Monday and Wednesday 12 to 1 and 5 to 6pm.
