Happy Mother’s Day to Trish, the mama of Good Food Karma. 🌿
At the age of 16 Trish was the first female apprentice chef at Noah’s Hotel in Christchurch.
When she began her training the teachers told her cheffing wasn’t a woman’s job and a woman’s job was to have babies so Trish the ever defiant one told them she would be a chef and have children and with that
Trish raised her 10 children in the kitchen and nurtured a love of food in each of us. She is the most hardworking woman we know, she has shared her gift of cooking, creating and hard work with us. And most importantly filled us with so much love.
