How to turn a round cake into a heart shaped cak.

This was the first time I was trying this out, cutting out a round cake to turn it into a heart shaped cake.
It was a risk I took and maybe I should have practiced a little bit before trying this out with a client's order, I'm glad it turned out well.
The feedback and gratitude from the client made it all worth it.

We have different types of clients, some give us templates to work with in respect of the design they want for a cake decoration while others say, go do your thing and create something nice.

Do you prefer it when a client gives you a template or when you are on free mode creation?
