Darts Canterbury (Inc) versus CSDA in the annual lower grades rep match played today at CSDA for the Kohi Trophy.

Darts Canterbury (Inc) ended up overall winners after some very close games..

Darts Canterbury 180’s were scored by: Harry Apes, Steve Lines, Steve Williams and Stu Waddell.
Morris Kohi scored the only 180 for CSDA..
Congratulations Darts Canterbury.

Winter Round 16..Wed 29th July

Round 15 results are now available via the website: http://www.darts.org.nz/results.html. See weekly results, the draw for any week and all individual stats there. Thanks to the captains for getting their score sheets in on time.

1st Grade
Congratulations to Richmond B on winning the 1st Grade round robin. Richmond D finished second, with Hornby C taking third place. The grade now splits into a Top 8 and Bottom 8, with each group playing a seven-week round robin before the two-week knockout finals series.

Competition Format Update
Premier: The team finishing on top at the end of the final round robin will be crowned Grade Champion. A small knockout series will then follow to determine a Knockout Winner.

1st and 2nd Grade: As in previous seasons, the team finishing on top after the initial round robin will be recognised as the Grade Champion. Both grades will then play a shorter round robin, followed by a knockout finals series, to determine the Knockout Winner.

3rd Grade: The team finishing on top at the end of the last round robin will be crowned Grade Champion.

Prize money in each grade will be distributed proportionately among the top teams from the round robin and the knockout series. All prizes will be awarded at the Darts Canterbury Presentation on November 21.

This time next week the Darts New Zealand National Darts Championships will be underway at the Richmond Club, here in Christchurch.
🔺The Tournament poster is attached for your timetable information as are the details for the Darts NZ Ranking Points Singles Tournament on Tuesday 21st July..take note the entry fee is $20 and the final check in closes at 5:30pm..This game will be played in The Junction room at the Club.
🔻At the same time there will also be a Blind Pairs Game in the Critic Sports Bar for anyone not chasing the ranking points. The entry fee is $5.00 also with a final check in time of 5:30pm.

🔹The North v South Game will be played at the completion of the Men’s and Ladies Pairs on Thursday 23rd July. All players including the reserves need to register with the team managers at 1.30 pm.
The reserves for the South Island Team are:
Men..1st Res: Callum Westwood - Otago
2nd Res: Nick Brown - Kaiapoi Club, Canterbury
Ladies..1st Res: Kandice Tahuri - Kereru Club, Canterbury
2nd Res: Ruth Sullivan-Whyte - Hokitika Club, West Coast

🔹The Inter Area Final is on Friday 24th July…The Canterbury Inter Area Team need to be checked in with AEM Stephen Lines by 10.45am.

🎯The Darts NZ Annual General Meeting starts at 8:30am Friday 24th Jul..all Clubs are urged to attend with their 2 delegates for voting rights.

✔️Most Importantly..The Darts NZ Dress Code will be strictly enforced at this tournament, especially your Black Dress Trousers/Black Dress Skirt knee length or longer.
NO golf style trousers, trackpants, cargo pants, black or blue jeans, drainpipe or tight leg style pants, or any with branding on them..same applies for the ladies, no tights or leggings, mini or lace skirts.
