Happy Father’s Day! 💚

We had some extra special news to celebrate today that after a slight delay, SWEET LOU is officially on a plane and on his way to New Zealand as we speak! ✈️

We’re looking forward to having him back on the farm and ready for another breeding season alongside our other stallions - Bettor’s Delight, Downbytheseaside, Lather Up and Speeding Spur 🐴

We’re lucky to have these pretty special “fathers” of our own here at Woodlands Stud, with their legacy continuing through the incredible progeny they leave on the racetrack.

Kicking off across New Zealand this week, Woodlands Stud’s semen shipping arrangements for the 2026/27 season will remain much the same as last year, with our stallions standing in the flesh here at our Auckland farm.

We’ll once again be working to a Monday, Wednesday and Friday collection and shipping schedule, with orders required by 2pm on the day prior:
