Champion sire BETTOR’S DELIGHT once again showcased why his stock are still so highly sought after last week.

Twenty winners across the week, capped by a feature-race treble at Addington Raceway on Friday night - all sponsored by our friends at NZB Standardbred!

He sired both $200,000 NZB Standardbred Harness Million pacing winners, with I’M THE BOSS maintaining her winning streak in the fillies’ final and TOUR PARTY returning to peak form to win the c**ts and geldings’ final.

The night got even better when his talented mare UTAH JAZZ captured the Listed NZB Standardbred Southern Mares Classic.

It was an outstanding night for loyal clients John and Katrina Price of Price Bloodstock who bred both Tour Party and Utah Jazz. With I'm The Boss, also stemming from the Southern Bred Southern Raised banner, bred by Katie Williamson and the Jones'.

Congratulations to them all and their other connections.

From exciting young talent to proven open-class performers, Bettor’s Delight continues to deliver at every level.

Choose proven. Choose a champion. Choose Bettor’s Delight.

🙌🙌

From first foal to a Group 1, newborn in tow

Kim Blakemore is only 30, she’s on a break from racing with a ten-week-old daughter, and her very first foal has already raced in a Group 1.

Lathered In Love has had four starts for trainer White, including the Group 1 Caduceus Club Fillies Classic at Alexandra Park. Kim and partner Zac Trimble have been there for every one, baby and all.

The filly is out of Love Yourself, a two-race-winning Sir Lincoln mare the family has owned since birth. Choosing Lather Up was partly on Matt Purvis’s advice. It was also partly a bit of superstition: Kim noticed her mare’s final race had carried the Stud stallion’s name. With Debbie Lincoln already showing the Lather Up and Sir Lincoln cross could work, that was all the sign she needed. 🍀

This is what small-scale breeding is all about. Best of luck to Kim, Zac and Lathered In Love for the rest of the season! 👏

DOWNBYTHESEASIDE continues to make his mark!

Seventeen winners across Australasia last week. Over $21 million in 2026 progeny earnings across New Zealand, Australia and North America and nine of the top 10 pacing lots in the final session at Lexington! 🔥

Progeny highlights included:
🏆 JUMAL secured his fourth Group 1 in the Flying Stakes at Addington, taking his career wins to 14 and lifetime stakes to $669,000.

💪 D MAC won the WA Derby Prelude with a career-best mile rate of 1:54.5, while SEASIDE SID led all the way to win the Kriden Farms Canola Cup.

His progeny are setting the standard internationally. Downbytheseaside leads the 2026 three-year-old sire rankings in New Zealand, Australia and North America, and leads the North American two-year-old rankings while being second in both Australia and New Zealand.

The results are global. The momentum is relentless. Catch the next wave with Downbytheseaside!
