Introducing Mr Fosco’s Negroni. What a good way to send off Negroni Week ae?
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Cambridge Distillery to create the perfect Negroni, using their gin and our sweet vermouth.
Simply pour over a big bit of ice, add an orange garnish and you’ve got yourself a Negroni. Easy as.
So why Mr Fosco’s?
History tells us that Count Camillo Negroni asked for his Americano to be made a little stronger. Fair enough.
But someone still had to know how.
That someone was bartender Fosco Scarselli, the man behind the bar who mixed the very first Negroni.
While the Count’s name made the history books, we’ve always thought Mr Fosco deserved a little more of the glory.
So here’s to the craftsman. The quiet achiever. The fellow who actually made the drink.
