HOW TO TASTE W**E LIKE A PRO

You don't need a fancy w**e vocabulary to enjoy a good glass. But if you've ever wondered what you're actually supposed to do at a w**e tasting, here's your five-step guide.

1. LOOK
Check out the colour. Is it pale gold, blush pink or deep ruby red? W**e gives you clues before you've even taken a sip.

2. SWIRL & SNIFF
Give your glass a gentle swirl, then take a sniff. Fruit? Flowers? Spice? Take your time — there's no wrong answer.

3. SIP
Take a sip and let the w**e move around your mouth. What flavours can you pick up? Cherry, citrus, stone fruit or something unexpected?

4. NOTICE THE FINISH
Once you've swallowed, notice how long the flavours linger. A w**e that keeps revealing itself is worth taking your time over.

5. MOST IMPORTANTLY… ENJOY IT!
