In Loving Memory of Kirsty Hall - General Manager
💛 7 March 1984 - 19 June 2025 💛
It’s hard to put into words just how much Kirsty meant to all of us at Pure Pac.
You could always hear her before you could see her — her loud, infectious laugh, her favourite stories (which she loved to tell on repeat to anyone who would listen), and the constant calls to her workmates just to chat, check in, or share a story about her kids, her animals, or whatever her car was up to that day.
We called her our Pocket Rocket — small in stature, but with a presence that filled every room (and the packhouse, usually in high heels). She had a straight-shooting, tough-as-nails attitude, but underneath, her heart was pure honey. She was deeply compassionate, fiercely protective, and endlessly proud of her five beautiful kids and her husband, who she spoke about daily and who always made her absolutely beam with pride.
Kirsty was endlessly versatile. No task was ever beneath her. Whether it was high-level decision-making in the boardroom or getting her hands dirty on the packhouse floor, she was always at the centre of the action. She would fight with scanners, swear at label printers, roll her eyes at the punnet machines, and be loudly indignant when the box machine broke down yet again! But she never walked away from a challenge. She either tackled it herself or rallied her trusty A-Team to sort it.
She thrived in the buzz of harvest and couldn’t stand the thought of missing out on anything — she loved to be in the middle of the action. She commanded immense respect at every level because she was just that capable, whip-smart, and genuinely irreplaceable.
We will miss her laughter, her honesty, her phone calls, and the way she kept us all connected.

Kirsty, we will love you always, and we will honour you always by sticking stickers on absolutely EVERYTHING. We will drink copious amounts of V and diet coke, and make sure to leave one in the sun to explode, just for you. We promise to always tell the stories that made you laugh the most - repeatedly and to anyone who will listen. Rest now knowing that we will battle the scanners with all the fearlessness you showed us, and face the grower payments with the fitting amount of eye rolls and sighs to make you proud. We will greet each other with your token flat "hullo", and try to be at least 5mins late for every meeting in your honour. And lastly, we won't forget to try turning it off and on again as per your expert advice.
Cheers to you Kirst, from the A-Team
