What a great time bull sale season is! Ngakouka Herefords would like to thank returning clients and welcome new clients to our genetics. Top price $20,000 sold commercially and $16,000 transfer to Circle-D-Ranch. 20/20 bulls sold with an average price of $10,000.
Thanks to auctioneer Neville Clarke, supporting agents and of course registered buyers. Our focus turns to next year’s crop which are coming along nicely roaming the hills of Motea in a mob of 85.

Out at Ngakouka Herefords with Bruce Donald ahead of this year’s bull sale 🎥

Last season was a cracker, averaging just over $9k, with strong demand right through—including a solid portion going into Angus herds, showing the strength of the crossbred animal.

The focus here is on breeding the right type for East Coast hill country—practical, functional cattle that perform where it counts. This year’s draft includes 21 bulls, with a strong line by MONYMUSK QUEBEC making a real impact 👀
