The South Island 2026 Colourbration Show was organised by the new convenor Kit Johnson. Huge thank you Kit and team for a well organised show and a fun day out. We were impressed with the judge Ruby Williams from Australia with her consistent judging. Ruby gives detailed constructive reasoning focusing on useable fleece production and sound confirmation. All exhibitors enjoyed her delivery style. Thank you Ruby for taking time out to judge in New Zealand again.
Our small team of seven performed well. With the lowest placing in a class being second.

Huge thanks to Martin Bennett the new convenor of the Malvern Colourama A&P Show. This show had record entries being the largest alpaca show for the autumn season in New Zealand 2026. Jonathon Provis-Vincent from Australia was thorough and gave detailed oral reasoning on his placings. We hope Jonathon and Maddy enjoy their time in New Zealand. The quality of alpacas was excellent and great to see so many different breeders receiving championships awards. We entered four alpacas and the following were our top performers:-
Stoneleigh Firelord won Supreme Champion White.
Stoneleigh Kenzoki won Champion Light Fawn Female.
Stoneleigh Ozark won Reserve Champion Mid/Dark Fawn Male.
Congratulations to all the other exhibitors!
