Thank you, kind Emma. You give us a lot of HOPE for the future - maybe there *will* be a Bowling Club on every street with people like you around 🧡

It’s lasagna night (either vegetarian or beef, and both are served with cauliflower cheese & our rainbow slaw!). 🌈

We’ve got allll the heaters pumpin’ - lots of warmth and aroha around! We’ll be serving up kai til 7:45 ☮️🧡🥣

Liam made a new biiiiig ol’ batch of dulce de leche caramel, so we’re all in for a sweeeeeet week! 😋

Esther is serving lunch til 2pm, and we have lasagna for dinner (either vegetarian or beef) from 4 to 7:45pm ☮️🧡🥣

Happy Sunday everyone! ✨

We’ve been reflecting on how we operate The Bowling Club, and we want to simplify some things so we can provide both a better service AND have a better work-life-balance for ourselves & our teammates. 🔸

We’ve decided to change our opening days from five days to four days (starting NEXT week). As of Monday the 8th of September, The Bowling Club will no longer be open on Mondays. Our hours will remain the same for Tuesday to Friday (lunch from 11am to 2pm & dinner from 4 to 7:45pm). 🔸

We will still be open as normal tomorrow (Monday, August 31st) for our FINAL Monday. 🔸

We know that Monday is a very important day for our free / discounted kai customers after the weekend. If you are concerned about food support during our three day weekends, please talk to our team & we can support with frozen meals. 🔸

Thank you to all of you who follow us along as we try to create a sustainable & vibrant service & space here in Ōtepoti! We’d love to see you around for kai when you can. ☮️🧡🥣

Some news for you: this upcoming week is ‘normal’ around here — open Monday to Friday for lunch & din (11am to 2pm & 4 to 7:45pm) 🔸

But, it will be our last Monday open. The following week (starting September 7th), we will be open Tuesday through Friday (not Monday!). 🔸

We’re moving to four days because we feel like it will bring better balance to our lives (for all of us on the team). 🔸

We’d love to see you for our final five day week this week! ☮️🧡🥣

We’re open and ready to serve you for wrap day today AND we have baked potatoes if wraps aren’t your thing.

We have the usual lineup of delicious sauces proteins and salads, and you can all get it folded up in a wrap, in a salad bowl or pop a baked potato with it. You can add blue cheese or sour cream for a dollar!

We also have Dion, Connie and Trevor here from the north shore, who are looking to set up something similar to the bowling club up north! They’ve been seeing how we do thing around here, and chopping up pumpkins, potting sauce… it’s great to have them around!

We’re open for lunch till 2, looking forward to seeing you!

We’ve got a beautiful meal on for you tonight - Japanese curry, served with roasted cabbage (with lots of garlic & sesame), house-made kimchi mayonnaise, rice & optional beef (for +$3). 🍛

We’d love to have ya here! We’ll be serving up warming bowls of curry (and mac & cheese) (and fresh wraps / salad bowls) (and!! Crumble & choccy pudding) til 7:45 ☮️🧡🥣
