It’s been heart warming seeing so many of you enjoy mum’s favourite; Prawn Balchão pickle. It’s not for the faint hearted being both very spicy and very fishy!

Tartan Sari is normally a vegan affair but I have decided to do a special batch of prawn on mum’s birthday every May.

I can hear her in spirit saying ‘I told you ages ago that people would like it!’ It was the best seller back in the UK when mum and dad ran the business.

Rambling aside, I’m posting on here because it’s nearly all gone! 5 jars left in fact until next May. If you want to stock up get in touch or jump onto the online shop. Any remainders will be at the Farmers Market on Saturday 🩷

I’m heading to the last Remarkables Market for the winter season and I’ll be bringing some of our giant jars (carrot, apple & tomato) as well as some Special Reserve Chilli and Prawn pickle. I’ll have all your favourites too including Coconut Coriander Chutney, Buckwheat Seed crackers and Spicy nuts.

Don’t worry Dunedin, whanau will be running the stall at Otago Farmers Market though it will be cash or b/t only ❤️
