This week we are Gilling and Combing a new batch of ''Coffee'' Naturally Coloured Corriedale Wool. This beautiful colour is from sheep with the Moorit gene - their points are always a natural red/ ginger, the fleece colours vary from this Coffee to Cinnamon and thru to dark ginger. After the Combing process we will be gilling again and preparing to spin both 4ply and 8ply Coffee yarns. We sell this colour also as Combed Sliver to hand spinners at $35/500gm bags plus post. Azrah Samsudeen has been brewing up some great colourways for the hand spinners on our Combed Corriedale Wool Oatmeal, Silver and Silk blends. Azrah is in NSW, Australia and her work can be found for sale on this site https://fleecefolkfibre.etsy.com . Keep an eye out there are some other interesting blends and colours coming on our fibres soon :)

Lesley Young has made a wonderful bed for her dog. Lesley made the bed from woollen fabric so wanted an all natural fibre filling for super warmth and found our product perfect for the job and the dog loves it! We sell clean pure wool mill waste from time to time and this is what has been used. Its wool that is a by-product from our Spinning - sold for $10 per kg plus post. Ideal for cushions and soft toys etc. Email or message on FB if yr interested in any of our products.

Kathy Drake has finished another lovely top! Kathy handspun our ''African Violet'' Silk blend and hand knitted this garment. It took 700gms of the main Corriedale silk belnd, Kathy added a few more spashes of lime and purple silk.
