PALMY, WE’RE COMING FOR YOU! 🍷💃

We’re heading down to Palmerston North this weekend for another cracking SALUD Festival!

Our third year running, and we can’t wait to catch up with all our local supporters, familiar faces and hopefully a few new ones too!

Let’s drink some good w**e, have a bloody good time and pretend it’s a summer’s day! ☀️🥂

It’s amazing how much you can accumulate in such a short amount of time.

Between setting up a cellar door and a w**ery servicing so many small w**e brands from Hawke’s Bay and beyond, turns out we had A LOT of stuff.

And she’s been a BIG week. 🫠

🚛 20-something truckloads (thank god Henry has his truck licence!)

🛻 40-something ute and trailer loads (Harry has now mastered driving a trailer, reversing it AND using strops!)

🏗️ One Hiab

🚚 Three truck and trailer loads

⏰ An absolutely unbelievable number of hours.

Throw in a child at home with hand, foot and mouth all week, a nanny drafted in from the South Island, and a whole lot of chaos, and you’ve got yourself one hell of a week.

But looking back at the past two years…

🍷 154 w**es made.

🍇 13 incredible w**emaking clients.

💪 Thousands upon thousands of hours of hard work.

A cellar door built from scratch. A w**ery built to help small brands make their mark. So many people, so many w**es, so many memories.

We poured absolutely everything we had into this place. And while this isn’t quite how we imagined this chapter ending, we’re bloody proud of what we created here.

A huge chapter closed. A lot of emotions. And a very, VERY well-earned drink needed.

Our last weekend at 121 Mere Road

And obviously, in true Swift style, we’re not slipping quietly out the door. We’re making a bloody good weekend of it.

🍷 A VERY limited new w**e making its first appearance, only 200 bottles made
🎧 Henry on the DJ decks
🧀 The fridge is FULL
🥂 Plenty of w**e, good tunes and questionable levels of sentimentality

This little spot has been our home for the last two years and there are a lot of memories packed into it. So before we pack up and head into our next chapter, we’d love one last big weekend with you all.

We had the best time with Charlotte Anderson documenting our time at 121 Mere Road 🤍

We want to be able to look back on these past two years and feel really bloody proud.

Proud of what we built here. The work, the w**es, the conversations, the friendships, the parties, the long days, the ridiculous amount of energy poured into this place, and everything we learnt along the way.

It’s been a chaotic ride. Not always an easy one, and definitely not ending quite how we imagined, but this place will always be a big part of our story.

So before we pack it all up, it felt important to capture it exactly as it was.

Meet Fancy 🩷🐾

The newest (and smallest) member of the Swift pack.

This little girl feels pretty damn special. Fancy has DNA from all of our girls through the generations. Our late Tina is her great grandma, Marceline is Grandma and P**i is Mum.

And when Fancy arrived as a silver dapple, just like her great granny Tina, it really did feel like she was meant to be ours.

Personality wise? She’s somehow managed to inherit a bit from ALL of them. Equal parts sweet, sassy, stubborn and completely convinced she runs the place already.

Welcome to the chaos, Fancy. You fit right in. 💕
