A significant day of acknowledgement for all women.

A significant day of acknowledgement for all women.

Here's to the women who inspire, empower, and shape the world every single day. Happy International Women's Day! šŸ’ŖšŸŒŸ

This year's global focus from the United Nations and WHO is: "Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls." This theme calls for concrete steps to ensure equal access to justice, particularly for vulnerable women and girls. It focuses on bridging the gap between legal rights and lived reality, specifically targeting the dismantling of discriminatory laws and harmful practices.

The UN says that nowadays, no nation has closed the legal gaps between men and women. Right now, women have only 64 percent of the legal rights that men hold worldwide. In fundamental areas of life, including work, money, safety, family, property, mobility, business, and retirement – the law systematically disadvantages women.

Imagine a gender-equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge gender equality.

Congratulations Josh and Shauna, it was a joy to work with you both and to meet both your families. It was a precious and intimate occasion .

Surrounded by the people who know them best, on a HOT Wairarapa day, Josh & Shauna exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at their home. With Josh’s family traveling all the way from the UK and visiting for Christmas, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to tie the knot. These two have the most amazing light up the room energy & it was an absolute pleasure to be part of their special day

Let’s go pink! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and you can get involved by going Pink For a Day at work to raise vital funds for breast cancer education, research and patient support. At the same time, it's a great opportunity for employees to learn more about self-checking, knowing their normal, and having mammograms when eligible.

Nine women are diagnosed every day with breast cancer in New Zealand, so it's likely that someone in your workplace has been impacted. It can be hard to know what to do, especially at work - this is a great way to show your support.

A renewal of vows is a beautiful ceremony that can happen at any time during a couples married life - whether it's a re-affirmation at one year or an expression of a deep and lasting commitment for marriages that are well into double numbers! It's also the legal way of celebrating a marriage when you are already legally married.

I started the wedding season off this year with a renewal of vows and it was a picture perfect spring celebration of love.

A very special birthday for Te wiki o Te reo Māori.

A very special birthday for Te wiki o Te reo Māori.

This week is Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori! And it's the 50th anniversary 🄳

Born of activism, the week grew from a single ā€˜Māori Language Day’ set up in 1972. The seeds of a full week dedicated to te reo Māori were planted in 1974 and by 1975 Te Wiki had found its footing and was off! Its growth and gains are what we celebrate 50 years on.
