It's with a mix of hops in our hearts and foam in our eyes that we announce the end of our brewing journey at Derelict Brewing. 🌟 After six years of brewing the type of flavour forward beers that we wanted to drink we’ve made the hard decision to hang up our mash paddles. It wasn't an easy one, but as they say, when lactose prices soar to the moon, even our brewer's hearts break a little. 🐄💸
We've laughed, we've cried (mostly when we ran out of Citra hops), but through it all, you've been with us—sipping, savoring, and sharing in our creations. Whether we were meeting you in person at festivals or interacting on our socials, your support, humour and occasional beer fueled wisdom has been a huge part of our journey and to you we say thank you 👊.
Our story began with a small but mighty pastry stout called Rubus. It feels fitting that we will be closing this final chapter with a stout. We're thrilled to introduce The Epilogue—a last hurrah in liquid form that encapsulates our journey and is our way of celebrating this final chapter with a nod to one of our favourite beer styles.
