Orari Gorge Station Orari Gorge Station is set in the South Canterbury foothills just north of Geraldine. Breeder of top genetics for the sheep and beef industry

We run a Hereford stud and 3 sheep studs- Romney, RomTex maternals and terminal SufTex.

Bull sale online tonight, Monday 12th at 7pm. Bulls are looking good and will be on display 1 - 3pm.

We have some pretty handy yearling bulls on offer at our on line sale Monday 12th October at 7pm om BIDR. All carefully chosen and ideal for beef heifer mating, 1st calvers or dairy cows.
Bulls will be on display 1 -3pm om the day. Videos will be on line shortly.

We got to see some hay making on some ridiculously steep country, plenty steeper than this at over 2,000m. Everything you have heard about Switzerland, you need to times by 10. It is so neat, tidy, efficient, and breathtaking.

We have been lucky to take some family time off farm, a big thank you to Snake and the team for all their hard work, especially through last week's rain.
We have been in Switzerland and have been amazed to see the cattle being grazed behind electric fences at over 2,000m (over 7,000ft) asl. A very short growing season at that altitude so they have to make the most of it.

We are looking for someone to join our team with a new role. Please spread the word.
