Just a quick update on what is happening with the liquor license renewal for the Red Door Kaiti.
ARLA has booked Courtroom 1 for Tuesday the 8th September commencing 10am, to hold this hearing. Once they have heard all the evidence, they will review all information, and we should hear the outcome within 2 weeks.

Hi All,

Over recent weeks, I and my staff have had numerous customers asking how things are going with the renewal of the Liquor License for the Kaiti Red Door.

The Alcohol Regulatory & Licensing Authority (ARLA) have allowed us to continue trading, until a licensing judge in Wellington is available to come to Gisborne to review the decision. This will likely happen around late August to early September.

To the community, I'd like to say a massive thank you to you all. Over the last few months we have had an incredible amount of support, including a petition that was started in favour of the store staying open recieving several thousand signatures. As things progress I will keep you informed.
