SAVE THE DATE: We were going to try and run on our normal booking this month (3rd Saturday of the month) but a lot of our food vendors are pre-booked for September. So, we've moved weekends in October, and we're coming back Saturday October 24th (Labour Weekend) 🥳. We hate that we haven't been able to run for months - we've missed you all! 🍴

Well, after all these beautiful sunny days of course it makes sense that rain is in the forecast for our August date :( due to this - no Dinner by the River for this Saturday, August 15th. We're hoping Spring will bring us our lovely weather back and we can go ahead as planned on the 3rd Saturday of September - the 19th. See you then!

We think we're about ready to come back now. Dumplings, anyone? See you August 15th, weather permitting 🥟🍴

You may have noticed we skipped June's Dinner by the River 😱 here's your heads up that July we will be having a break too. This wet weather gets in the way of us using the grass on Marina Park, and with everyone wanting to stay rugged up on their couch using Uber Eats (or drive thru's) for their takeaways, we're going to stay in front of our fires and keep warm too 🥶 We know that breaking consistency in our small town can create some havoc with an ongoing event - but we think we actually have something cool going on here, and know that you will all support us with as much gusto as you always have when we are back 🫶 see you all soon!

Drizzle? Doesn't bother us! Our very first event had the same weather as today and you all still turned up ready so we're going ahead tonight ☔️ Bring an umbrella or a raincoat, or if you're a 'dancing in the rain' type, you can do that too 🤷‍♀️ we understand it's not picnic weather, but if you grab a car park facing the river you could still get a somewhat pretty view while you eat 😉 KFC and McDonalds will still be there tomorrow, support local and eat with us at Dinner by the River tonight 🍴
