Weaning 2026 complete ✨️

We are very happy with a really even line of both heifers and bulls this year.

A very kind summer has shown a 29kg lift in the average bull weaning weight and a 17kg lift in average heifer weaning weight from 2025 to 2026. ❤️

Time for the girls to have a rest now before calving starts on July 1st 🐮

Thats a wrap on Carters first time weaning his own mob. He put a bull (he named Ferdinand the bull) over his wee motley crew of Herefords, Murray Greys and Chaolais' and the calves he got are absolute crackers!

Theyre off to the Tuakau weaner Fair on Thursday and were very excited to see that hybrid vigor in action.

His mob has significantly grown this year so calving will be extra busy.

Carter reckons hes buying a new dirt bike with his earnings 🤣🏍

Hes back from the US with his fancy new machine!

This week we had Hugh out to muscle scan our in calf R2 heifers.

It was a bit trickier with Phillip having his arm in a sling but the data is so worth having so we persevere 😊
