Sweetree Honey

Sweetree Honey Award winning honey from our beehive to your table! Sweetree Honey's different varieties reflect the area our bees have worked their magic.

Sweetree Honey is a homegrown beekeeping business owned by Stephanie & Martin Lynch, with 200 beehives in and around Hamilton. We are proud to produce local honey which showcases the amazing quality and diversity of our surrounds. As artisan producers, we are involved in every aspect of our honey business from bee husbandry, to harvesting, processing, packing, marketing and point of sale. Maintain

ing the natural properties of our raw honey is a key focus in everything we do. You can be confident that Sweetree's honeys have not been damaged by heating or finely filtered. They still retain the enzymes, antibacterial qualities and high pollen counts naturally occurring in the honey. Sweetree Honey is a true reflection of the Waikato's flora. Much like a great wine reflects the terroir of where the grapes have grown, Sweetree Honey’s different varieties reflect the area and season the bees worked their magic. People who try Sweetree honey often comment how it tastes like the honey they used to have when they were young. It’s much more than just a sweetener. Bee collected pollen is often seen as just a natural supplement but is actually an incredible natural super food. It is a nutrient rich food and contains numerous vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and is high in protein. We have many wonderful recipes for bee pollen and just some of the reported benefits of our bee pollen are: sustained energy, enhanced immunity, reduced stress, relief of inflammation, more rested sleep and better skin condition.
