Balfour Plunket

Balfour Plunket Balfour Plunket is a community group that supports mums, babies and their families in our community. We also like to socialise.

Balfour Plunket invites any family in the district to get involved in our group! We formally meet about 10 times a year where we have a short meeting followed by an invited guest - often this is an opportunity to shop for ourselves or our little people. We have a coffee morning once a month at the Balfour Playcentre (adjoins Balfour School) - this is a great way to meet other mothers in an informa

l setting. Every Christmas we put on a party for the children along with the Playcentre. The Plunket nurse will ask new mothers if they wish to be involved in Plunket on her first visit when your baby is around 5 weeks old and she will pass your contact information onto us. We then arrange for one or two of our mothers to visit you.
