Evening everyone.
We are pleased to announce that we are going to be holding a one off; Mixed Age Hind Capital Stock online bidr sale on Tuesday 24th February at 7pm

Due to the farm dramatically decreasing hind numbers we will be offering in excess of 100 hinds. These are genuine hinds that would never be sold under normal circumstances.

It's a great opportunity to take advantage of the high venison schedule and upgrade hinds that will produce top progeny. There will be a huge range of Genetics with a good selection from all of our Sires and as is always the case here; proven bottom lines.

Because of the size of sale it will be quick fire bidding to keep it flowing. Every hind will start at $800 and have $50 bids and first bid will see the reserve met. Hinds will be catalogued purely in age and tag number order. These hinds will be available for transport approximately 3rd March at weaning time.

We hope to have an online catalogue available within the next week.

The dust has settled and all the sale deer are off to their new homes. So I thought it was a great opportunity to thank the long list of people who partook in the sale this year!!

Thanks very much to all the the purchasers, bidders and everyone who showed up on the day and to the massive number who attended the sale virtually. Also to Neville Clarke, bidr, Rural Livestock Ltd and Adam Whaanga; who all do an amazing job of running and bringing you the sale. To Downlands Deer for carting the deer to their destinations!

Here is a sneak peak into what you can expect to see at next year's sale. These 6 boys are some of our top 2yr olds, and make up the team of entries we are sending up to the Rising Stars in March.

Introducing the 2026 Sale Catalogue!!

We are very pleased with how it looks and the quality of animals we are offering this year. The catalogue is now at the printers and we will strive to have it in the post before Xmas. Note the sale time has changed this year and will be on Sunday 11th January at 2pm. Just an additional couple of points to note that are different to usual. Lot 19 will be our 7yr trophy sire Dutton. The hind Lots 24 -27 this year each come with a complimentary 3 straws of Effen semen.

If anyone is around on Monday 22nd and wishes to come have a look at the velvet it will be on display in the sale shed at ….pm,

I hope everyone has enjoyed velveting season so far. We have had a great 6 weeks here and we are now well and truly into some great looking 2yr olds!!

Now we have finally got up to date on the farm; we pulled out the 3yr old velvet yesterday and got our sale lineup for this year sorted.

We are very pleased with how they have cut and will be compiling the catalogue this week. We will definitely have the digital copy out before Xmas and all going to plan, hard copies will be in letterboxes by then as well.

Keep an eye out I hope to get some footage of the 3yr trophy stags that we'll also be offering this week.
