Our multi-award winner beef sausage has scored well again! Clocking up our 12th award at the Great NZ Sausage Competition for this beaut lil' banger! With a tie for supreme this year, it shows what tight competition it was for 2022!

Drum roll please! We are excited to announce, it's a Gold for our Beef flavoured sausage! Awards were announced last night at the 25th annual Great NZ Sausage Competition. Thanks Pete, one of our reps, for collecting on our behalf at the event. This award is a total team effort. A huge thank you to our team & super special thank you to Steve! We also have some more good news to add, we'll be reopening on Sundays again, starting this Labour weekend.

Yes, Gavin is finally back this week after a tricky couple of months off. He's still one handed at the moment & a big thank you to the Greytown Butchery team for keeping the shop going while Gavin was out of action. While we are still temporarily closed on Sundays we do have some wonderful news share, at the end of August we got a lovely surprise to get a call for this year's NZ Sausage Competition for another award for one of our sausages! We only entered one, but what award we get, we still have to wait to find out! We were not going to enter this year with the hand operation issues, but glad we popped an entry in! Yay! Way to go team!
