We are seeking a passionate catering assistant to run our coffee trailer.
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Love food and working with people? Smoko Express is on the hunt for a passionate Catering Assistant to run our Food and Coffee Trailer, permanently located on site (No Travelling)
This is a new sole charge position, with an emphasis on selling amazing coffee. Opening for business in February, offering coffee and a warm welcoming friendly service, the café will quickly gain popularity and you will be instrumental in making that happen. Most of the food on offer will be prepared off site, however there may be a requirement for some basic food prep such as sandwiches and rolls.
To be successful in this role you need to be high energy with a can-do attitude, friendly bubbly nature and the ability to genuinely engage with customers and keep them coming back for more! You will also have previous café experience and be able to:
• Serve beautifully crafted coffee and food
• Operate POS machine with a smile (Eftpos)
• Work effectively in a sole charge role without direct supervision
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workplace
• Work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure
This position is full time, working Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 2pm, there will be no weekend work giving you more time to spend with family, friends and enjoy the sun.
