Welcome to the team- Brad Seager

Showcase Boarding has brought on a worker for the show season.

Brad has been involved in showing cows since a very young age. Over the last 4 years Brad has been helping Showcase Boarding at the shows. His knowledge and stockman-ship is to be admired and makes him a great addition to our team.

If you have any queries about how things work or would like to book an animal in, you’re more than welcome to talk to Brad about it, or you can continue to communicate with Luke or Charlotte.

How boarding your show animal at Showcase Boarding works.

🤔If you’re considering sending a show animal to Showcase Boarding but aren’t really sure how the process goes then have a read here.

Step 1: get in contact to express interest in sending your animal to a show with us. We will then come out and view the animal you have in mind or can help in picking the right animal to give you the best chance in the show ring.

Step 2: once the animal/s have been selected they get trucked or dropped off to Showcase Boarding 6 weeks before the show.

Step 3: leave everything else to us. We are happy to break animals in if they haven’t been shown before. They are on a tailored diet the whole time while at Showcase Boarding to get them into the best form possible. The service also includes the clipping and showing of the animals at the show.

We try our best to take all of the stress out of showing cows and heifers for you. You can show up on the day and watch your animal be shown without all the stress.

We take pride in caring for every animal as good as we possibly can and treating them like they are our own while they are with us.

Animals can be AB’d and/or flushed while at Showcase Boarding.

If you have any other questions about it please feel free to get in touch.

🌱Calving season is here!

🐄And that means that show season is just around the corner.

👀If you spot a two year old calve in that really excites you, or maybe an older cow who has come along lots this year and makes you want to see her in the ring, then get in touch because we’d love to help.

In our opinion the earlier you start planning for getting your animal into the show ring, the better results you can achieve. If you’ve got an animal you see a lot of potential in but aren’t fully sure then please get in touch. We are more than happy to come out and give our honest opinion, give feedback and discuss how our show programme can help take your animals to the next level.
