The SPNW2026 is over for another year and we are so grateful for everyone that attended, especially our internationals from Portland, Oregon and the UK. We Thank all our amazing speakers, Mimi Casteel, Dan Sims, David Moreau, and Dr Leandro Araujo – So many insights, so many tastings and so many new and old friendships.

🍇The Southern Pinot Noir VISY Gala dinner was a huge success - After a jam packed day starting with "The Burgundy Pinot Noir" tasting presented by the winemaker “David Moreau”, then time for NZ barrel samples 2025 tastings, then finishing with a Tasting of 2024 bottled wines and experiments presented by Winemakers – It was time to Kick up our heels, enjoy great food and drink great wines - with DJ rocking the house🎉 – It was a fun night for all

It was amazing to have Dr Leandro Araujo from deliver a presentation at the 35th Southern Pinot workshop on the “Persistence of elemental sulphur in Pinot Noir grapes and mitigation strategies.
It is incrediable that he volunteered to come and address our workshop and we pass our thanks to him.
