All season long, we have been waiting for this moment 🍇

Our Syrah is the last variety still on our vines — the same vines that made our Champion Syrah at the Hawke’s Bay Wine Awards 2025 — and harvest is just a few days away.

Looking forward to seeing what this vintage will bring.
Follow along as we bring in our final harvest of Vintage 2026 🍷

After Sauvignon Blanc, it was Chardonnay’s turn.

Another handpick done. Just a couple more to go and Vintage 2026 will be wrapped up for us in the vineyard.

There is always a mix of relief and anticipation at this stage of the season.

While things are slowly winding down outside, a new chapter has already begun in the winery.

Vintage never really stands still. 🍇🍷

Just over two years ago, we decided to top-graft some of our Syrah vines to Sauvignon Blanc. A new variety for our little vineyard. A new challenge.

Yesterday was a big day...

✂️ First day of harvest for the 2026 vintage.

🍇 First EVER harvest of our Sauvignon Blanc for Herringbone Wines.

Hours of careful picking, making sure only the best fruit makes it into the wine. Then off to the press, where the second part of the journey begins under the caring eye of our winemaker, Daniel Brennan

Two years of patience. A beautiful day of picking and the promise of a beautiful wine to come.

A celebration of flavour, creativity and the very best our region has to offer. And of course, we will be there with our wines.

🍷 Come and see us for a glass of wine or one of our special drinks, we think you will love it.

It is the perfect occasion to gather, taste and share something truly local. We look forward to seeing you there tomorrow.

Valentine’s Day does not have to look a certain way.

It can be a quiet evening on your own, a dinner with someone special, or a table full of friends and family. What matters most is the moment you create around it.

If a bottle of wine happens to be part of that moment, we hope it brings a little extra warmth to your day.

Happy Valentine’s Day from us ❤️.

Things are moving fast in the vineyard 🍇

Veraison is well underway here in Hawke’s Bay, and every day brings more colour across the blocks. Most of the bunches have now almost fully changed, a clear sign that the season is advancing quickly.

With conditions like these, harvest no longer feels far away. It is shaping up to be an early vintage, and the vineyard is changing before our eyes.

👇 When do you think harvest will begin this year?
