Sharing my love of fantastic food, wine and events, great places to visit, food producers and more... THE FOODIE INC connects food-loving travellers with New Zealand food producers and speciality food outlets, fabulous wineries and local restaurants, cafes and markets and so much more. By providing ideas, inspirations and information on what’s available, where to find it and how to get there, travellers can create their own unique food travel experience. Or you might have a real desire to meet the people behind NZ’s amazing food and wine scene while exploring the foodie scene while away on holiday. Or just knowing where to get all those delicious morsels for a gourmet picnic or BBQ with family and friends. THE FOODIE INC will even throw in the odd restaurant review but only if we really love the experience – we believe eating out is more than fabulous food. The location, the atmosphere, the service, and of course your dining companions ensure eating out is a memorable experience.

First visit to eleven.thirty.three.nz for dinner with friends on Friday night and we will definitely be back.

Divine from start to finish: a refreshing Hugo Spritz to kick things off, panfried skin on snapper and a decadent chocolate fondant to finish!

Judging by the number of cars in the carpark each time I drive past The Farm House on the outskirts of Havelock North, it’s a popular destination!

Have popped in a couple of times over the past month. The cinnamon scrolls are absolutely divine - soft & light with a decadent gooey icing! And the chicken focaccia I had yesterday was very tasty!

Open Tues-Fri 6:30am-1:30pm
Sat & Sun 8am-2pm

And don’t forget they have drive thru coffee too.

Beautiful spring day to get amongst the Taniwha Daffodils Central Hawkes Bay.

$10 for 30 stems with $20k being raised for two local charities. Bring your family & friends, pack a picnic or grab a coffee from the coffee cart & enjoy the vista.

Daffodil picking runs until Sunday 20 September. Buckets are available but we took our own.

The “feed me” chef’s selection is perfect for when you’re talking way too much or simply can’t decide what to order off the extensive menu.

Delighted it included my absolute favourite item on the Madame Social menu - bang bang chicken - it’s been on the menu since they opened.

Absolutely 💯 loved this sweetie pie 🥧 boysenberry 🫐 spiced apple 🍏 & custard 🍮 pie 🥧 from Bellatino's Food Lovers Market Kitchen in Ahuriri.

It’s the final week to enjoy the Winter Warmers Lunch Specials at Malo Restaurant

Choose between braised beef cheek with cauliflower and dukkah or spiced seafood chowder with focaccia. Each dish is $40 and is paired with a glass of w**e.
