🌟 Our next Community Sponsorship month is here! 🌟
Firstly, stay tuned… 👀 We’ll be announcing the split of $1000 donation across last month’s three Community Sponsorship groups very soon!
In the meantime, we’re excited to introduce the next three community groups taking part in our program:
🌄 Te Mata Park Trust
🤰🏻 Bellyful Hawke's Bay
♻ Re-Source Charitable Trust
Below is a little bit from each community group about how they would use the sponsorship money.
🌟 Te Mata Park Trust - Your vote will help Te Mata Park Trust maintain and enhance the Park now and for generations to come. The Trust has cared for Te Mata Park on behalf of the community for nearly 100 years. Working alongside mana whenua and the local community, the Trust protects and enhances this special place for generations to come. Since 2020, more than 65,000 native trees have been planted, while initiatives like Schools for Trees are helping grow the next generation of kaitiaki. They rely on community support to cover a significant operational funding shortfall each year, so every vote helps look after this special place.
🌟 Bellyful Hawke's Bay - Do wonderful mahi for whānau in our communities. Bellyful brings volunteers together to cook and deliver free meals to families with babies or young children who need a little extra support. Our donation will help Bellyful continue providing nourishing meals and practical support to whānau when they need it most.
🌟 Re-Source Charitable Trust - do incredible mahi for whānau across Hawke’s Bay. Working alongside 141 frontline agencies, Re-Source provides essential furniture, bedding, clothing, kitchenware and homewares — all free of charge — to people experiencing hardship. Sponsorship will help Re-Source continue meeting growing demand and getting practical essentials into the hands of whānau who need them most. Last year alone, they supported 6,925 people across 55 Hawke’s Bay communities.
Have a look at the current standings and make sure you get your votes in before the end of the month. Every token could make a difference!
