MILESTONE: We're now breaking the $3000 a month mark for combined electricity and gas bills at our small business!
The Giant Brewing Brains Trust (GBBT) likes a challenge and tried to get to the root of this. Generally after four pilsners each, the trust has answers for 99 percent of all problems, but not today. We switched from pilsners to west coast IPAs but still nothing, despite our thought processes being massively enhanced.
We texted our brains trust colleagues at Watties and McCains asking them to bring brainfood (carrots and peaches), but they were too busy unplugging things.
Turns out the government and the industry itself have no answers to this puzzle, and we feel vindicated by that, and heartened by news that Nicola Willis is looking into it, and will come down on gentailers like a can of Heineken Light if things are a bit off.
In the meantime, the GBBT is already looking for the next issue to solve. Leave a suggestion - we might chase it up.
Also, we've got a special dark beer in the pipeline and are confident the "spicy and fruity" yeast characteristics will contribute that extra 1 percent required to weigh up, analyse, and repair any broken stuff thrown our way.
