Bavette Steak (New to Gourmeats ) $38.00 per Kg Bargain
Bavette steak is a flavorful, beef cut from the bottom sirloin that features a loose, open grain and rich taste.
Simple Recipe Below Enjoy.

INGREDIENTS
• 10 g butter
• 4 shallots peeled and thinly sliced
• 20 cl red w**e
• 2 beef bavettes
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Melt the butter very gently in a small saucepan. As soon as it is melted (you do not want it to brown), add the sliced shallots in the pan. Cook on a gentle heat (let them sweat- they should not brown) for about 10 minutes.
2. Pour the red w**e into the saucepan. Leave to cook for 20 to 30 minutes on a gentle heat. You need the red w**e to have almost all evaporated.
3. Pan fry your beef bavettes as you like them cooked.
4. Remove your bavettes from the frying pan. Add the red w**e shallots comfit to the pan to get all the flavour from the meat and serve the comfit on top of the meat.

I am absolutely devastated to tell everybody that Alex is leaving.
He has been absolutely fantastic to work alongside; I love him like a son.
The team and our customers adore him, and he will be sadly missed. Like any young fledgling, it's time for him to leave the nest.
​Alex is off to Australia to start his travels. Although I am very sad that he's leaving, it's something every young person should do.
Alex has two weeks left, so pop into the shop and wish him good luck!"
